Refund policy

Moriko is committed to product quality and customer satisfaction. This Policy governs returns, replacements, and refunds for products purchased at www.moriko.in.


1. Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for:

  • Wrong product delivered.
  • Product damaged or defective upon delivery.
  • Packaging tampered with or seal broken prior to delivery.
  • Product expired at the time of delivery.

Returns are NOT accepted for:

  • Opened, used, or consumed products (unless demonstrably defective).
  • Requests made after 7 days from the delivery date.
  • Products stored improperly after delivery (heat, moisture, direct sunlight).
  • Products purchased during a non-refundable sale or promotion, unless defective.
As Moriko manufactures liquid nutraceuticals (FSSAI Category 13.6), opened products cannot be returned due to food safety regulations under the FSS Act, 2006.

2. How to Initiate a Return

  • Email moriko.wellness@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Include: order number, clear photographs of the product and packaging, and a description of the issue.
  • Our team will review within 3-5 business days and confirm whether a return shipment is required.
  • Do not return any product without prior written authorisation from Moriko.

3. Refunds

Once a return is received and verified, we will notify you of approval or rejection within 5 business days.

Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  • Online payments (UPI, net banking, credit/debit card): credited to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD): credited via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) within 7-10 business days. You will need to provide your bank account details.

Moriko may deduct shipping and handling costs if the return is not due to our error. Refunds will not be issued for products that fail inspection upon return.

4. Replacements

You may request a replacement instead of a refund for damaged, defective, or incorrect products. Replacements are subject to stock availability. If the item is unavailable, a full refund will be issued.

5. Order Cancellations

Cancellations before dispatch: full refund issued.

Cancellations after dispatch: not possible. Initiate a return upon delivery as per Section 1.

Moriko reserves the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, payment failure, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud. A full refund will be issued in such cases.

6. Adverse Reactions

If you experience an adverse reaction after consuming a Moriko product, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Please also report the incident to us at moriko.wellness@gmail.com per our Adverse Event & Product Complaint Policy (www.moriko.in/adverse-event-policy). You are not required to have a return authorisation to file an adverse event report.

7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable Indian consumer protection law.
